Spending time close to nature heals my heart and breaks my heart. The beauty of this relentless, twirling planet supporting billions of evolving life life forms since its creation is beyoned comprehension. I don’t know how to process the current decline except to keep making art that relflects the beauty and whimsy of the world, to honor the planet and my place in it. My place is on the central coast of California, living in an Art Fort with my love/art/partner,  Stephen Plowman. Tucked in next to Acacia Creek, on a dear friend’s ranch where the hawks screetch and the coyotes howl, with the Sycamore, Oak and Willow. We’ve had the privilage to make art in one form or another most of our lives. Sometimes we collaborate (see Public Art page) most often we support each others artistic vision.

We are lucky to be in a community of family and friends who are artists, activists and farmers, each making the world a better place in their own way and enriching our lives in a big way.
